The castle
of Balthus in Montecalvello opens its doors again. Sunday, August 27 the
ancient private residence will be open to visitors and on the occasion will
also be present the owner Prince Stanislas Klossowski de Rola, known as Prince
Stash, son of the painter Balthus, will welcome visitors and together with Anna
Rita Properzi, tour guide and expert in Renaissance residences, will accompany
them along the way for an interesting narration in two voices.
The path
will start from the inner courtyard and will take place between the rooms of
the noble floor and then arrive at the attic floor to admire the studio where
Balthus made many drawings and where his colors, earths, brushes, plaster and
casein that he mixed for his paintings are still found.
